Description
As published on SAM.gov.
Scientific Laser salient characteristics: Frequency tunable about a central wavelength of 905 nm. A tunable wavelength range of at least 2 nm around the central wavelength of 905 nm. The laser should operate in a continuous wave (cw) mode. The laser power before a final optical isolator should be greater than or equal to 1.0 W. The frequency linewidth of the laser should be less than or equal to 100 kHz. The laser should have a mode-hop free tuning range of greater than or equal to 5 GHz.
The laser should include low noise and drift piezoelectric transducers for precise frequency adjustment. Control for the laser should include a digital display and also allow for external computer interface and control. The laser should include a final optical isolator in order to prevent laser feedback into the laser head. Inclusion of any necessary temperature controls in order to operate the laser and maintain a precise frequency.
