Humidity Generator Upgrade

THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE The 10th Contracting Squadron, US Air Force Academy (USAFA), CO 80840, intends to award a firm-fixed-price commercial purchase order to a single source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) to RH Systems Inc, 1225 W Houston Avenue, Gilbert, AZ 85233. Market research determined RH Systems Inc is the source sole for part number CGS-240 and has no resellers.

The CGS-240 is a humidity generator used for the calibration/testing of temperature and humidity probes/environmental monitors. Currently, the Government is utilizing the old standard and requires part to be replaced, calibrated, and tested. IAW FAR 13.106-l(b), Soliciting from a single source for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold, the contracting officer determined the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available.

THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR QUOTATION. A solicitation will not be posted. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged. Information received in response to this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a sole source or competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government.

All information submitted should support the offeror's capability to fulfill this requirement and shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. Responses must be in writing and must provide clear and concise documentation indicating an offeror's capability to provide these services. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. Responses and questions shall be emailed to the notice of intent contacts prior by 12 July 2024, 11:00 am MST.
