SOURCES ARE BEING SOUGHT FOR INFORMATION AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY! THERE IS NO SOLICIATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. REQUESTS FOR A SOLICITATION WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government.

All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. The sole purpose of this notice is to identify potential System for Award Management (SAM) Database active registered businesses, capable of performing this work.

The U.S. Air Force Reserve Command is seeking a short-term assignment with a 90-day period of performance for a Cost Analyst consultant. The individual should be experienced in performing cost analysis for a Base Operation Support Service (BOSS) contract or similar activity. The BOSS contract consists of the following functional areas: Supply, Vehicle Operations Maintenance, Traffic Management, Fuels and Real Property Maintenance.

Position can be virtual with flexible work hours between 0630 – 1700. Specific functions include the ability to develop an Independent Government Estimate, perform analysis on the cost of insourcing and outsourcing, review workload data, work orders, list of materials order, talk with stakeholders, analyze sub-contracting pass-through fees and cost to the government to administer the contract and produce a detailed audit report that breaks down all direct, indirect, and repurposing costs.

Location for this service is the 911th Airlift Wing Pittsburgh Air Reserve in Coraopolis, PA 15108. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code proposed is 541611, Administrative Management and General Management Consulting Services. The size standard $24.5. All interested firms should submit a capabilities package that outlines the firm’s capabilities in providing the required service.
