The 48th Contracting Squadron at Royal Air Force (RAF) Lakenheath, United Kingdom, seeks feedback and sources from companies capable of providing non-personal Strength and Conditioning Specialist services for the 48th Medical Group (48th MDG) at RAF Lakenheath in accordanc ewith the attached draft Performance Work Statement (PWS).

Background: The Government requires contractor support for the Operational Support Team, whcih is integral to maintaining operational readiness. This position will directly support mission readiness by improving Airmen's strength and physical performance, preventing injuries, integrating rehabilitation, and optimizing human performance. The specialist will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive physical training and injury prvention programs tailored to enhance Airman performance. Key responsibilities include:

Providing direct instruction. Assessing and mitigating physical and ergonomic workplace stressors Collaborating with medical staff and unit leadership to support a full spectrum of human performanc eand rehabilitation initiatives.

This notice does not constitute a formal Request for Proposal (RFP) or Request for Quote (RFQ). No contract will be awarded from this announcement. The Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI. All costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested party's expense. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFQ or RFP, if any is issued. Please submit responses electronically to the designated points of contact by the specified response date.

Industry Questions: Please review the attached draft Performance Work Statement (PWS). Is the scope of work clear? Please identify any language that is ambiguous, confusing, or may unnecessarily increase costs, and provide suggested clarifications. The PWS requires designing and implementing scientific training programs and developing exercise regimens for Airmen with various diagnoses (e.g., obesity, hypertension, orthopedic injuries). What is your company’s capability and experience with this?

The PWS requires collaboration with sports medicine professionals, nutritionists, and mental performance staff. Please describe your company’s experience in working within a holistic, multi-disciplinary team. The PWS lists several required professional certifications (e.g., NSCA CSCS, ACSM-EP, UKSCA ASCC). Please confirm your company's capability for ensuring that personnel meet and maintain these certification requirements.

What quality control methods does your company typically use to ensure services consistently meet the required standards for program effectiveness and injury prevention? Please provide your company’s administrative information: business name, address, phone number, CAGE code, and Unique Entity Identifier (UEI). Please indicate your company's business size and any socioeconomic categories (e.g., small business, woman-owned, veteran-owned, HubZone, etc.).
