This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes – it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. This request for information does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Further, the Government is not seeking proposals at this time and will not accept unsolicited proposals.
Vendors are advised that the Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI; all costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested party’s expense.
Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP that may be issued Description: The 48th Contracting Squadron, Royal Air Force (RAF) Lakenheath, United Kingdom (UK), seeks feedback from companies/entities capable of providing grounds maintenance services that will be performed at various United States Visiting Forces (USVF) locations through out the UK.
Locations include RAF Lakenheath, RAF Mildenhall, RAF Feltwell, RAF Molesworth, RAF Alconbury, RAF Fairford, RAF Croughton, RAF Welford, RAF Caversfield, RAF Barford St. John, RAF Brampton and RAF Blenheim Crescent. The contractor is expected to provide all personnel, equipment, tools, and supervision to ensure grounds maintenance is completed to the AF standard.
This shall include but is not limited to; mowing, edging, trimming and weed control; remove debris/police grounds; dead animals and leaf removal; lawn conditioning; fertilization, and aeration; pest control; lawn renovation; prune shrub, hedges and other plants; maintaining semi-improved grounds; mow, and trim; maintaining perimeter fence line; maintain Bird Area Strike Hazard (BASH)/ SSSI (Site of Special Scientific Interest) areas; maintain unimproved grounds; maintain surface drainage ditches, and perform snow/ice removal and ice control services.
Services shall be in accordance with the Air Force Common Output Level Standards (AFCOLS). All services are outlined in the attached “DRAFT” Performance Work Statement (PWS) and its supplements.
