Hoffman Testers (ANV-126A-001 & ANV-20/20)

Notice of Intent to Award Sole-Source Requirement for Hoffman Testers 1. In accordance with (IAW) the requirement to publicize notice of proposed contract actions under FAR 5.201 and the requirement to synopsize, the purpose of this notice is to inform any interested potential vendors of the Government’s intent to award a firm fixed-price Purchase Order (PO) for the procurement of Hoffman Testers (ANV-126A-001 & ANV-20/20) for the 374th Operations Support Squadron (374 OSS) at Yokota Air Base (AB), Japan.

The total estimated value is less than $250,000. 2. Description of Requirement. The intended acquisition is a Firm Fixed-Price Purchase Order (PO). The requirement is to procure 3 units of DIGITAL NIGHT VISION GOGGLE TEST SET (ANV-126A-001) and 4 units of EYELANE SYSTEM (ANV-20/20) to be fully compliant with department regulations. 3. Based on the above description, the Government intends to award to HOFFMAN ENGINEERING, LLC on a sole-source basis pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, FAR 13.106-1(b)(2), and FAR Subpart 13.5.

Any responses to this notice must fully demonstrate that more than one responsible source exists to fulfill this requirement. 4. The determination to compete this intended contract action or not is under the sole discretion of the Government. Any information received shall be considered toward the purpose of determining whether to pursue a competitive procurement process. The Government shall not be responsible for any costs incurred resultant of responding to this notice.
