Notice to Intent to award single source to AAR Supply Chain, INC for aircraft couplers and hoses

25 July 2024 Change date of Deadline date for submittal and Estimated Date of Award to 31 July 2024 17 July 2024: The 673rd Contracting Squadron, Joint Base Elmendorf Richardson, Alaska intends to award a firm fixed price, single source commodity contract to AAR Supply Chain Inc. The scope of work will include the purchase of specialized materials to support aircraft cooling system while it is not in use. The couplers and hoses are vital for maintenance of the aircraft to ensure it stays mission capable.

In accordance with the technical publication AAR Supply Inc., which is a part of EATON, is the only company authorized to provide the materials. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 336413. This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures as authorized by FAR 13.106-1(b)(i). The anticipated award date is 31 July 2024. Please note that this is not a request for competitive proposals.

However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing complete information describing their ability to provide the product/services listed. Deadline date for submittal is 31 July 2024 1200pm Alaska standard time. A determination by the United States Government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the United States Government.
