NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SINGLE SOURCE: Service contract to Plexsys Interface Products, Inc. for software support renewal

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SINGLE SOURCE: The 673rd Contracting Squadron, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska intends to award a firm-fixed price, single source service contract to Plexsys Interface Products, Inc. for software support renewal, which includes:

Access to Major and Minor Software Releases for One Year Bug Reporting and Fixes Telephone and Email Support from PLEXSYS Customer Service Access to the Latest Technical Documentation The NAICS code for this acquisition is 513210. The manufacturer was able to confirm the ability to provide the items of the requirement. This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures as authorized by FAR 13.106-1(b)(i).

The anticipated award date is 23 Feb 2024. Please note that this is not a request for competitive proposals. Sole source awarding has been determined to be in the best interest of the government to maintain the new systema ability to communicate with other system upgrades of flight simulator training already in use. However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing complete information describing their ability to provide the product/services listed.

Deadline date for the submittal is Tuesday 06 Feb 2024 at 2:00 pm Alaska Standard Time. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
