Department of the Air Force (DAF) Zero Trust (ZT) Functional Management Office (FMO)

The Air Combat Command (ACC) Acquisition Management & Integration Center (AMIC) intends to acquire support for the Department of the Air Force (DAF) Lead Command execution of Zero Trust through the subject matter expertise of the Zero Trust Functional Management Office (ZT FMO). This support will continue to drive the previously developed Zero Trust roadmap in developing strategy and implementation efforts, establishing key internal controls and metrics of success into the execution phase.

It will ensure that the DAF meets the DoD and department Zero Trust strategy and roadmap goals/objectives and stated timeline to ensure audit readiness. Additionally, the support will be advising and assisting in the prioritization of critical actions, assessment of risks, development of corrective actions, and tracking of their resolution.

Support will include the re-engineering of repeatable business processes and the creation of accountability mechanisms to ensure IT capabilities reach end users across the enterprise. Further this contract will provide advising and assist AF Management in the prioritization of identified issues, assessment of risk, development of corrective actions, and tracking of their resolution.

The requirement will provide managerial, technical, and life cycle management support to the DAF ZT FMO operating under DAF authorities. This includes conducting daily operations of the ZT FMO including providing management oversight, detailed analysis and writing of planning and strategy documents, Concept of Operations (CONOPS), Implementation Plans (I-Plans), system specifications, technical orders, and technical support for modernization and integration initiatives.
