Offers (Quotes) received in response to this solicitation will be evaluated IAW FAR 52.212-2(a) using the following factor(s) to determine best value: a. Technical capability of the item/service offered to meet the Government requirement; and b. Price (evaluation of price shall be the sum of all line items, including options if applicable). The Contractor shall provide 100 Bearing Rollers.
Questions and Government Response: All questions concerning this solicitation must be submitted no later than 2:00 P.M. CST, April 18, 2025. Any questions that are received in conjunction with this solicitation and the corresponding responses by the Government will be posted as an Amendment to System for Award Management (SAM), website: www.sam.gov.
Contractors shall submit all quotes by April 25, 2025 @ 02:00 PM CST electronically by emailing the Contract Specialist, 2d Lt Shailla Alda at shailla.alda.2@us.af.mil and the Contracting Officer, Mr. Matthew Lahr at matthew.lahr.3@us.af.mil, and with the subject line "FA481925Q012 Bearing Roller - Quote". The Bearing Roller is an integral component to accomplish the technical order mandated 10-year overhaul of Barrier Arresting Kit (BAK)-12 energy absorber.
The contractor must provide the specific Bearing Roller/part number to comply with the requiring agency's requirements to pass form, fit, and function in accordance with Technical Order 35E8-2-5-1 (Operation and Maintenance Instructions) and Technical Order 35E8-2-5-4 (Illustrated Parts Breakdown).
