Intent to Sole Source - Apogee Labs AL2273-203 (2U) Digital Switch Controller - Tyndall AFB

THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SINGLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. IAW FAR 13.106-1(b) - Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.

The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to satisfy the need for acquiring a Digital Matrix Switch Controller that interfaces with the Apogee Labs 2273-101 chassis, 01-AL2273-301 TTL/01-AL2273-301LV TTL input, 01-AL2273-401 TTL output, 01-AL2273-303 analog input, and 01-AL2273-403 analog output cards.

This controller will facilitate data switching control through a Windows-based GUI and front panel control, store ten (10) presets, and load unlimited presets from a computer. It is essential for real-time processing, display, and data archival recording. This Digital Switch Controller will be paired with one of the 83 FWS/FWT's current Apogee Digital Switch Chassis (AL2273-101). As this is proprietary equipment, no other known vendors or manufacturers can meet this requirement or interface with the chassis.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, all quotes received by the date of close specified herein will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.

Digital Switch Controller (Quantity:

01): Interfaces with Apogee Labs 2273-101 chassis, 01-AL2273-301 TTL/01-AL2273-301LV TTL input, 01-AL2273-401 TTL output, 01-AL2273-303 analog input, and 01-AL2273-403 analog output cards. Provides data switching control through a Windows-based GUI and front panel control. Can store ten (10) presets and load unlimited presets from a computer. Acts as the hub for controlling all data routing, real-time processing, display, and data archival recording. To be paired with one of the 83 FWS/FWT's current Apogee Digital Switch Chassis (AL2273-101). This is proprietary equipment with no other known vendors or manufacturers capable of meeting this requirement and interfacing with the chassis.
