SUBJECT: Sources Sought for modernized consoles to effectively support Live Mission Operations Capability (LMOC) training missions. 1. Purpose:This is NOT a solicitation. This memorandum functions as a Sources Sought notice to identify potential suppliers that can provide information on commercial products and services, prepared in accordance with the format specified in Subpart 12.6, along with additional information provided in this notice.
The 633rd Contracting Squadron intends to award a firm-fixed-price (FFP) contract to a small business, following the guidelines set forth in the Federal Acquisition Regulation 13 and the specific requirements detailed in this request and the attach Statement of Work (SOW.)
2. Background: The 1 FW War Room serves as a critical hub for planning, executing, and monitoring air operations. As modern warfare evolves at an ever-increasing pace, the need for realistic and challenging training environments becomes paramount. LMOC provides a simulated environment that closely mirrors real-world scenarios, allowing ACC personnel to develop and hone crucial decision-making skills in a low-risk setting.
3. Requirement Description: The 1 Fighter Wing (1 FW) War Room requires modernized consoles to effectively support Live Mission Operations Capability (LMOC) training missions. These consoles must provide a robust and adaptable platform for personnel to monitor, interact with, and manage complex simulated scenarios in real-time. This capability is crucial for maintaining the highest levels of readiness and proficiency for ACC personnel in planning and executing critical air operations.
Please reference the attached SOW for more information as well as the attached example module and drawlings of what the 1FW would like the room to look like. Also note that no monitors or chairs will be needed only consoles.
4. Anticipated Procurement Approach: The procurement strategy is expected to be a competitive set-aside for small businesses, with an emphasis on compliance and pricing:
