Intent to Sole Source to Cummins INC. for Fire Engine Repair

The 22nd Contracting Squadron, McConnell AFB, KS, intends to award a sole-source, firm-fixed-price contract to Cummins, Inc. The required commercial services and commodities to be purchased are:

Cummins diesel engine certified repair services to include engine removal, disassembly, cleaning, and rebuild Cummins Brand Name parts or equal to include a turbocharger, piston heads, seals, and gaskets Warrenty for all parts and services purchased and installed for the repair of the Fire Engine APPLICABILITY OF AUTHORITY: This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures as authorized by FAR 13.106-1(b) Soliciting from a Single Source.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete for this proposed contract lies solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered exclusively to determine whether to conduct a competitive requirement.
