CES Voltage Pad Mount Transformers

The 30th Civil Engineering Squadron (30 CES) requires the purchase of five medium voltage pad-mounted transformers for the replacement of equipment that is approaching end of life service located at Vandenberg Space Force Base (VSFB). ALL transformers must be stainless steel and ALL must have copper windings, there is no exception to this requirment. The contractor shall furnish all labor, transportation and other requirements necessary for obtaining the equipment described in section 1.0.

The pad-mounted transformers shall have the following voltage ratings: · 112.5 KVA, 208Y/120, 12 kV · 150 KVA, 480Y/277, 12 kV · 300 KVA, 480Y/277, 12 kV · 500 KVA, 480Y/277, 12.47 kV · 750 KVA, 480Y/277, 12 kV VSFB has a corrosive environment that affects medium voltage pad-mounted transformers and its components. This factor necessitates that 30 CES to have a unique requirement when purchasing transformers. This unique requirement is to be stainless steel built, which reduces the companies capable of fulfilling the purchase order.
