Sources Sought - 5th CES EOD Nuclear Response Trailer (see attached) This is a special notice, not a request, for either a quote, proposal, or an invitation for bid. The intent of this notice is to obtain industry comments and knowledge only for the purpose of assessing the availability of qualified sources. The NAICS code is 336214, travel trailer and camper manufacturing. This procurement may be unrestricted or set aside for small businesses.

Responses to this Sources Sought Notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this notice, and if the Government still plans to proceed with the acquisition, a solicitation announcement will be published on Sam.gov. No solicitation is currently available. It is the potential offeror’s responsibility to monitor this site for the future synopsis/solicitation as they will not be notified.

The 5th Civil Engineering Squadron at Minot AFB, ND is requesting a Nuclear Response Trailer to recover in between iterations of mission activities; adequate storage of response equipment (UTV included); adequate insulation to provide protection from the extreme cold temperatures and extreme wind; adequate heating to provide protection and a safe and reasonable work space protected from the extreme cold and wind; adequate work space for the large number of personnel that would be on scene during a nuclear weapon accident or incident response; adequate space to utilize classified media during the planning and execution of operations while offering protection from security vulnerabilities; a place to relieve one's self.
