C-40 Flight Simulator Training Follow-on

The C-40B/C supports executive airlift missions for Air Mobility Command (AMC), the Air National Guard (ANG), and the Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC). It is a military derivative of the Boeing 737-700/800 (and newer models) commercial airliner. AMC requires pilot classroom and simulator training from suitably equipped and certified civilian flight training centers.

The contractor shall provide academic and simulator training for the following courses: Initial Qualification Pilot Training, Refresher Pilot Training, Pilot Recurring Evaluation Training, Pilot Requalification Training, and Pilot Senior Officer Training. The primary training audience consists of pilots associated with the executive airlift community but may also include personnel from other special missions as approved by AMC's Air, Space, and Information Operations' Training Division (A3T).

Training shall be conducted at a training center approved under Title 14, Code of Federal Regulations (14 CFR) Part 142. The contractor must also possess a B737-700/800 training program approved under 14 CFR Part 142. At a minimum, the contractor shall furnish, at its site, a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)-certified Level D, Category (CAT) IIIa capable, fully operational Full Flight Simulator configured with the Boeing United States Air Force (USAF) C-40B/C Operational Program Configuration (OPC) load software. USAF cockpit procedures and checklists will be used in all courses.
