Intent to Sole Source

The 763 Enterprise Sourcing Squadron (763 ESS), Operating Location Pope Army Airfield (OL-PAAF) intends to negotiate and award a firm-fixed price contract for the 15 Air Support Operations Squadron (15 ASOS) at Fort Stewart, GA, for a direct hardline for a WinTAK server with a static IP address and capability to exchange data at 1Gbps, as well as complementary Wi-Fi service for required operational communications, on a sole source basis to Comcast Cable Communications, LLC, in accordance with FAR Part 13 procedures.

The contracting officer has determined that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available (reference FAR 13.106(b)(1)(i)). Comcast provides service to Fort Stewart and has necessary infrastructure in place for this requirement. Market research has indicated that no other company in the local area has the infrastructure or capability to meet the 15 ASOS requirement. This is not a request for quote and no solicitation is available. Responses to this notice must be received no later than March 6, 2024, at 11:00 am, Eastern Time.
