This request for information (RFI) is for planning purposes only and shall not be considered as a Request For Quote (RFQ) or a Request For Proposal (RFP), or promise to use as a future RFQ or RFP. This is to determine the availability of business to include small businesses to provide the required products and/or services.This RFI does not commit the Governement to contract for any supply or service. Further, the Air Force is not currently seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals.

Responders are advised the Governement will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI. All costs associated with responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFQ, if issued. 60 MXS/AFREP has a requirement for an Eclypse Automatic Wire Test Set (AWTS) Brand Name or Equal. This item is required for wire repair and troubleshooting.

The C-5, C-17 and KC-10 rely on constrained supply systems for specific electrical and avionics components considered organic capabilities for other systems. The Automatic Wire Test Set is identified for use by TO 1-1A-14 Installation and Repair Practices, Aircraft Electric and Electronic Wiring. The contractor shall provide the following:

Minimum Salient Characteristics: • AWTS-02, 500 VDC Circuit Analyzer System Part Number: 100000-02 • Test Control Unit (TCU) • AWTS Laptop CPU • Eclypse Language Integrated Test Environment (ELITE) software • Switch Modules (SM)
