NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The 60th Contracting Squadron at Travis AFB, CA intends to award a sole source requirement to Burton’s Fire, INC. 1301 Doker Dr, Modesto, California, 95351-1598 The requirement is to purchase a brand-new original equipment manufacturer (OEM) Kovatch Mobile Equipment (KME)/Hale main water pump and gearbox assembly for a Rapid Intervention Vehicle (RIV) P-34 Firetruck. The pump and gear box assembly part number is:

HAL501—0024-010-50. Contractor shall provide all requirements in accordance with the attached Statement of Need (SON). This is for informational purposes only and not as a request for competitive quotations. Therefore, no solicitation document exists for this requirement. No responses to the notice of intent to sole source are anticipated, however, all quotations/responses received by the published active close date of this notice will be considered by the government.

A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
