Intent to Sole Source OTS Camera System Upgrade Maxwell AFB

The 42nd Contracting Squadron at Maxwell AFB, AL hereby gives NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE to Alabama Controls, Inc. DBA Albireo Energy to provide the Officer Training School (OTS) with Camera System Upgrades. Officer Training School (OTS) at Maxwell AFB has a requirement to preserve the operational integrity of all security systems and assure the prompt repair of any detected malfunction of the hardware or software components.

OTS cameras and Access Expert electronic door software needs to integrate for continuity of all the systems. Instead of having two systems to maintain, OTS needs to have one system it can be accessed regardless of location. Once obtained, the system will enable centralized control of all cameras, doors, and gates both on Maxwell AFB and at Vigilant Warrior (VW).

OTS currently maintains a Closed Campus Concept and the security of the three locations is paramount in the safety and security of the students, staff, and guests year-round. VW continuum software will allow, if there was an emergency, either site could be controlled with the Access Expert software. The vendor must be a Schneider Electric Certified master ECO expert to integrate the two systems all on the AccessXpert platform.
