Intent To Sole Source - STEM TPC (Clickers)

The mission of Air Force Junior ROTC is to "Develop citizens of character dedicated to serving their nation and community." The program achieves this through classroom education in air and space fundamentals and hands on learning opportunities in several fun and challenging curricular activities. This requirement directly applies to AU Transformation education and outreach objectives, supporting a continual refresh/replacement of worn-out units used in every AFJROTC classroom.

This innovative, cutting-edge education technology is an immersive learning tool that turns the passive classroom into an interactive, student centered, feedback-rich learning environment. It has been used to enhance the AFJROTC Aerospace Science Curriculum and provides a tool to teach and reinforce concepts that are being taught in the classroom. Essential to the growth of AFJROTC is the ability to deliver the equipment necessary for instructors to convey the assigned curriculum.

These tools are a recognized educational tool that significantly improves cadet learning and retention. As the delivery system for all AFJROTC curriculum, it is critical to instructor delivery and cadet learning.

NOTES OF IMPORTANCE: This is not a request for quotes and no solicitation is available.

1. A determination not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received in response to this notice will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.

2. Respondents are discouraged from submitting any information deemed competition-sensitive or proprietary.

3. Respondents will not be reimbursed for any costs incurred in responding to this intent to sole source (ISS). Information submitted will not be returned to the respective respondents. 4.Oral submissions of information will not be considered in response to this ISS. This sole source procurement is under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). This will be a firm-fixed price contract. 5.
