Notice of Intent to Sole Source - The Unify Console System

The 502nd CONS intends to solicit and award a Firm-Fixed Price contract, in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.5, Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items, to Mission Critical Solutions (MCS), under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.

The 502nd CONS anticipates award of a Firm-Fixed Price contract on a sole source basis to Mission Critical Solutions (MCS) for The Unify Console System, a vital tool for the organization as it enables safe and efficient monitoring of the necessary media systems in MOC and Command Post, allowing for communication via radio frequencies and the phone system, as well as the initiation of emergency procedures.

The organization recognizes the need to maintain and enhance this system to continue meeting the essential requirements of keeping all necessary media for job success and ensuring the safety of the areas from potential security threats. The Unify Console System has become a standard across the Air Force, underscoring its importance. Failure to address this need could result in a lack of communication across the installation, leading to mission failures, and leaving the organization susceptible to security threats.

Fulfilling the need to maintain and improve the Unify Console System is critical for safeguarding the organization's operations and security The anticipated period of performance is one year, February 28, 2025 through February 27, 2026. This notice is not a request for competitive quotations. A solicitation will not be available for this requirement. The intent of this notice is for informational purposes only.

However, any information received from any organization, before 9:00 AM C.T., Friday, Febrary 28, 2025, that believes it can meet this requirement will be considered by the Government for a competitive procurement action.
