26K 4-Leg HelMAS Kit

The 502d Contracting Squadron, JBSA Lackland Air Force Base (AFB), TX, is issuing this Sources Sought as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having the resources to provide the following scope of work.

Description of Product: The 26K HelMAS (Airlift Modular Approach Shoring) is adjustable metal ramps for loading cargo on aircraft. All components are at least 36” wide and comply with concentrated load aircraft limitations, they are needed to facilitate rapid loading/unloading of military assets for Agile Combat Employment scenarios during future conflicts and real-world missions. It would decrease aircraft ground times and increase crew survivability in a combat environment.

(Please see Salient Characteristics and Statement of Need for more info) All information provided is STRICTLY VOLUNTARY: The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to query the market for potential interested, capable, responsible, and qualified Contractors that can provide/perform the stated in the Salient Characteristics The government is interested in collecting market data/information in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement.

The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 336413 Other Aircraft Parts and Auxiliary Equipment Manufacturing, Size Standard in number of employees: 1,250. Anticipated Award is Firm Fixed Price (FFP).
