Fuselage Lift System

The 502d Contracting Squadron, JBSA Lackland Air Force Base (AFB), TX, is issuing this Sources Sought as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having the resources to provide the following scope of work.

Description of Product: The scope of work involves the procurement and installation of a Fuselage Lifting System for the 433d Crash Damaged Disabled Aircraft Recovery (CDDAR) program. The proposed lifting system features modifiable beams rated at 52,896 lbs and 110,200 lbs, providing the necessary strength and adaptability for safely and efficiently handling various tasks. This contract is expected to be awarded as a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract.

(Please see the Salient Characteristics for more information) All information provided is STRICTLY VOLUNTARY: The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to query the market for potential interested, capable, responsible, and qualified Contractors that can provide/perform the stated in the Statement of Need.

The government is interested in collecting market data/information in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 336413 Aircraft fuselage wing tail and similar assemblies manufacturing.

Employee Size Standard: 1,250 Employees. Anticipated Award is Firm Fixed Price (FFP).
