Delta 8 10 SOPS Matrix Switch Sources Sought

THIS IS ONLY MARKET RESEARCH. NO QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AT THIS TIME. Delta 8 10 SOPS has a requirement for the purchase of Universal Switching Corporation digital Matrix Switch parts and spare kit parts. This is a sources sought to identify interested vendors in the requirement to supply Delta 8 10 SOPS with two Matrix Switch S24530 BX-664-D1 and one (1) SPK-S24530BFX-1 (spare kit). This is intended as a sole source requirement. Please see attached DRAFT Justification and Approval document.

Universal Switching Corporation is the Original Equipment Manufacturer for the Digital Matrix Switch and holds proprietary rights to its product. See specs below. Provide two (2)US Matrix Switch S24530 BX-664-D1 and one (1) SPK-S24530BFX-1 spares kit). All items are required to be new. Refurbished and used equipment will not be accepted.

1. S24530BX-664-D2 System-Switching-Programmable RS-232/530: 5RU rack mount unit for interconnecting eighteen RS-232/530 digital DTE devices to eighteen DCE devices, routing 16 signals (8 from DTE and 8 from DCE) up to 20Mbps (200kbps RS232), DB-25S I/O connectors, enhanced 10" front panel touchscreen control and display, hot-swap redundant power supplies, hot-swap redundant CPU modules with 10/100/1G Ethernet and serial (232/422/485) control ports, and dual AC power inputs.

Can your company supply equipment that is capable of integrating with the system that is in place, being Universal Switching Corporation hardware? If so, please specify what brand and how it will be able to bypass the sole source restriction. If necessary, supply an equipment list. If the government were to solicit for this requirement, would your company be interested and capable in supplying a quote? If so, is your company a small business?
