Delta 8 Mission Furniture Refresh Synopsis

This is a synopsis for a firm-fixed price solicitation for a multi-room mission furniture refresh at Schriever Space Force Base.

The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, will be most advantageous to the Government, which represents the best value, is technically acceptable IAW the Department of the Air Force (DAF) Office Workplace Furniture (OWF) Ordering Guide, and whose price can be determined to be "fair and reasonable".

The DAF OWF Ordering Guide states that the requests for quote (RFQ) will be submitted directly to the four Tier II contractors authorized to perform on Schriever SFB under the DAF OWF. There is reasonable expectation that a minimum of two offerors will respond to the RFQ. The DAF OWF Program reviewed all required sources of supply IAW FAR 8.002 and determined that none could satisfy the requirements of the DAF OWF Program. 14 April 2025 The notification in SAM for FA255025Q0020 is a synopsis only.

The solicitation documents for this requirement will not be posted publicly. Only the four Tier II Contractors authorized to perform on Schriever SFB under the DAF OWF are part of this solicitation. The furniture being installed via this project will be located in three main areas. One area recently had its construction completed and is awaiting furniture.

The other two areas are in need of a furniture refresh to meet the unique mission needs that have evolved as part of the planning process for Delta 8 becoming a Mission Delta. This will also support the Space Operations Command Satellite Communications realignment, resolving issues stemming from the movement of mission areas from the Department of the Army and the Department of the Navy to the Space Force under the Department of the Air Force.
