Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source Contract - Clarivate Analytics, LLC

This is a notice of intent to sole source a procurement under FAR subpart 13.501(a), only one source is capable of providing the services because the services. This requirement is for licenses to use the ScholarOne system. The applicable NAICS Code is 519290 Web Search Portals And All Other Information Services.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), National Center for Emerging and Zoonotic Infections Diseases (NCEZID) CDC intends to award this requirement to Clarivate Analytics, LLC under the authority FAR subpart 13.501(a), “only one source is capable of providing the supplies at the level of quality required because the supplies are unique or highly specialized.” This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive quotes; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.

Capability statements or quotes, if received timely, will be considered; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.

Responses shall be emailed to Eric Uhls at kpy5@cdc.gov no later than 31 May 2024, 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time, and shall include the control number CDC-77793 in the subject line. Late responses will not be considered.
