Notice of Intent to Sole Source for M9 Linear Accelerator Maintenance

This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT using Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR 13.106-l(b) (1). The US Army Contracting Command -Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) Tenant Division, 6472 Integrity Court, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005-3013; has a requirement to procure the following service: The Aberdeen Test Center requires a service to provide semiannual preventative maintenance and repairs as needed for two M9 Linear Accelerators.

The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price sole source contract to Varex Imaging Corp (CAGE Code 7SNX7). The associated North America Industry Classification System (NAlCS) Code is 334517 (Irradiation Apparatus Manufacturing) and the Small Business Size Standard is 1200 employees. All responses received within two businesses (2) days after date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government.

A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability by responding to the requirement no later than 2:00 pm Eastern Standard Time (EST), 1 August 2024 with the following information:
