Notice of intent - MV Austin

This is a Justification and Approval (J&A) to sole source the repair and maintenance of hull components, dive shafts, and steering assemblies on the John T. Myers Motor Vessel (MV) Austin. The MV Austin is currently on Drydock at the McGinnis Sheridan Shipyard undergoing various other repairs in order to comply with Title 45, Chapter 1, Subpart M requirements. The additional work will be performed by McGinnis through a Sole Source Firm Fixed Price (FFP) purchase order. McGinnis is registered with SAM.GOV and is a veteran in the marine repair industry, with considerable depth in work for USACE. Specific work funding will be utilized to perform this action.
