Intent To Sole Source: Repair/Recalibration JCAST

TITLE: Intent to Sole Source:Repair/Recalibration JCAST The 4th Contracting Squadron, Seymour Johnson AFB, NC intends to perform a sole source Purchase Order to Chemring Energetics Devices Inc. for Repairs and Recalibration of Joint Combined Aircrew Systems Testers. This procurement will be for the minor repairs/recalibration of JCAST P/N 6177100-20, s/n 000362,and 000369. Such required maintenance is needed for the testers to be fully functional. No authorized sources for JCAST P/N 6177100-20 repairs are known to the Government at this time.

APPLICABILITY OF AUTHORITY: This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures as authorized by AFFARS 5313.501 - 10 U.S.C. 2302b, Implementation of Simplified Acquisition Procedures (41 U.S.C. 1901). Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract lies solely within the discretion of the Government.

Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive requirement. The closing date for this synopsis is 10 Jul 2025 at 10:00 A.M EST.
