FY24 WAR Board Games - Intent to Sole Source

The 42nd Contracting Squadron at Maxwell AFB, AL intends to award a sole source contract to Gamecrafter.com to provide Air Force Wargaming Institute with the Air Force Wargame Indo-Pacific and the Air Force Wargame European Expansion for Headquarters Air Force (HAF). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 339930 and the small business size standard is 700 EMP.

Description of the Requirement: The contractor shall provide 1,000 copies each of the Air Force Wargame Indo-Pacific and the Air Force Wargame European Expansion for Headquarters Air Force (HAF). These wargames will be distributed to five separate Air Force installations to be determined for the purpose of learning and practicing wargames. The Air Force Wargames Indo-Pacific and European Expansion were developed by the Air Force Wargaming Institute (AFWI) and produced by the vendor Gamecrafter.com. Only Gamecrafter.com has the templates required to mass produce these wargames for AFWI. Therefore, this requirement must be sole sourced to Gamecrafter.com.

A determination not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received in response to this notice will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Respondents are discouraged from submitting any information deemed competition-sensitive or proprietary.

Respondents will not be reimbursed for any costs incurred in responding to this ISS. Information submitted will not be returned to the respective respondents. Oral submissions of information will not be considered in response to this ISS. This sole source procurement is under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b).
