Amendment 0001 - Horticulture Services Solicitation

Update September 12, 2024: The solicitation has been amended. A site visit will be conducted on September 19, 2024 at 10:00 A.M. Please see the attached solicitation for details. The 42nd Contracting Squadron, 50 LeMay Plaza, Bldg. 804, Maxwell AFB, AL has a requirement to serve as the Maxwell-Gunter AFB installation horticulturalist, landscape designer, and greenhouse plant nursery manager.

Services are to include planning, design, coordination, direction, and performance of a wide variety of horticultural, arboreal, floricultural, and grounds maintenance duties to improve and maintain beautification in coordination with the COR and Grounds Maintenance Supervisor. This is a combined synopsis-solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.

This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this procurement is F2X3CE4185AQ01 and is being issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP).

The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2024-06 effective 07-30-2024, Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) Change 07-29-2024 effective 06-09-2023, and Air Force Acquisition Circular (AFAC) 2023-0505 effective 05-05-2023.
