AMENDMENT 0003- FY24 42 SFS- Fiber Optic Cabling and Cameras

Amendment 0003: Corrects the response due date and time on the Combo Solicitation document to reflect the correct due date and time on SAM.Gov. The close date and time is 12:00 PM CDT on 13 Sept 2024. AMENDMENT 0002: Please review Amendment 0002 documents to include updates to the Statement of Requirements, Site Visit Questions, and add two additional question and answer documents.

The close date and time remain unchanged with the due date and time of 12:00 PM CDT on 13 Sept 2024. No additional questions received will be answered for this Solicitation nor will an extension be granted. The 42nd Contracting Squadron, 50 LeMay Plaza South, Bldg. 804, Maxwell AFB, AL has a requirement to procure services to install fiber optic cable and provide and install two (2) cameras in support of the 42d Security Forces Squadron (42SFS) at Maxwell Air Force Base, AL.

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this procurement is F2X3B24169AW01 and is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ).

This solicitation document and incorporated clauses and provisions and (see Attachment 1) are those in effect in the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2024-05, Defense Publication Notice (DPN) 20240815 and Department of the Air Force Acquisition Circular (DAFAC) 2024-0612. A firm-fixed priced award will be made in accordance with the following:

Size Standard: $19.0 M SITE VISIT: A site visit is scheduled for 287 N. Turner Blvd, Maxwell AFB, AL 36112 on Thursday, 29 Aug 2024, at 2:00 PM Central Daylight Time (CDT). Offerors should be at the Maxwell Blvd Gate, Visitor’s Center at Maxwell AFB, AL at 1:30 PM CDT to receive a visitor’s pass. Please provide a list of all attendees and ensure they have their driver’s license, proof of vehicle insurance, and vehicle registration.

All attendees’ names will need to be submitted by Wednesday, 28 Aug 2024, at 3:00 PM CDT. In addition to the attendees name (as reflected on their driver’s license), include title and a telephone number for each individual. Offerors are encouraged to visit the site and take steps as may be reasonably necessary to ascertain the nature and location of work and the general and local conditions that can affect the work or cost thereof. Failure to do so will not relieve offerors from the responsibility for estimating properly the difficulty or cost of successfully performing the work.

The Government will assume no responsibility for any understanding or representation concerning conditions made by any of its officers or agents prior to the execution of the contract, unless included in this RFQ, the specification, or related documents.
