Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source - Monaco D-21 Switch Site Survey

NOTICE OF INTENT The 502d Contracting Squadron intends to award a sole-source purchase order to Monaco Enterprises, Inc. (Cage Code: 32609), under authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i).

In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold, the Contracting Officer (CO) may solicit from one source if the CO determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available (e.g. urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brandname or industrial mobilization). This notice of intent is neither a request for competitive quotes nor a solicitation for offers.

Interested persons may identify their interest and capabilities for fulfilling this requirement. Information received will be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive requirement and is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested parties stating capability shall provide the following services to the current Monaco system in place: Certified technician shall assess and analyze issues with the D-21 Monaco System utilized by the JBSA Fire & Emergency Services.

Certified technician shall assist in troubleshooting and advising on repairs and corrections to systems in fault status.
