Intent to Award a Sole-source Purchase Order to UFA, Inc

The 502d Contracting Squadron intends to award a sole-source purchase order to UFA, Inc. 80 Blanchard Rd, STE 200, Burlington, MA 01803 USA for the purchase of ATLIVE and ATSpeak Air Traffic Control Training Systems. UFA, Inc is the proprietary vendor and sole distributor of these products used by the United States Armed Forces. The proposed contract action is for products for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i).

Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotes. This notice of intent is neither a request for competitive quotes nor a solicitation for offers. However, all responses received by 18 June, 12:00 pm CST will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
