Notice of Intent - Sole Source to Stratasys

The 766 Enterprise Sourcing Squadron (766 ESS) has a requirement for Stratasys Fortus 450mc maintenance. The NAICS code is 811310 and the Product/Service Code is J075. The proposed purchase order is being solicited on a sole-source basis to Stratasys. The proposed action is for Fortus 450mc maintenance Emerald Care 450 for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source pursuant to FAR 13.106-1(b)(1).

The basis for restricting competition is for the following reason: Stratasys as the Original Equipment Manufacturer is the only provider of this service. The 766 ESS intends to award a firm fixed-price purchase order to Stratasys using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Interested parties may identify their interest to this requirement by submitting a capabilities statement no later than 9/30/24. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals.

However, all responses received by 9/30/24 at 8:30 PM HST will be considered by the Government. Any questions must be received via e-mail by 9/30/24 at 8:30 PM HST. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
