Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source - Local Telecommunication Service

The United States Air Force Test Center/Directorate of Contracting (AFTC/PZIOA), Edwards AFB, CA intends to solicit and award a sole source, firm-fixed price contract, under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Products and Services and FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures to AT&T for their Local Telecommunication Service requirement. The NAICS code is 517111. This is not a request for quotations.

Contractors interested in this requirement should submit a complete technical package, which provides clear and convincing evidence that they can meet the government's requirement. In addition, the response should indicate the contractor's size status in respect to NAICS code 517111 and indicate completion of Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items provsion FAR 52.212-3 which can be done electronically via SAM.gov. Any responses received without FAR 52.212-3 will be considered non-compliant. Further, the response should include any special requirements for a commercial contract (i.e., Commercial Financing, Warranty Provisions, etc.) in accordance with FAR Part 12. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the government will consider all responses received within 3 days of the publication of this notice. A determination by the government not to compete this acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
