The 30th Contracting Squadron (30 CONS) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis (IAW FAR 13.106-1) with AeroVironment, Inc. for the purchase a proprietary Long Range Tracking Antenna (LRTA) which communicates with the PUMA Drone systems already in use by the 30th Security Forces Squadron (30 SFS).

LRTA Firm Requirements: - High-gain antenna for long-range UAV operations - Omnidirectional antenna for short range operations - Automatic switching between antenna range modes - Automatic UAV tracking function (two-axis positioner) - Available in AeroVironment DDL Military Operating Bands M1/2/5 or M3/4/6 - AC prime power with remote power enable - Fiber optic link from antenna to remote Ground Control Station (GCS) - Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS)/ Power conditioner for tracking antenna - Link Range up to 60 km - Pan Range 360 deg continuous This is not a request for proposal or quote.

Purchasing this LRTA will enable functionality with existing AeroVironment equipment. This acquisition is being conducted under FAR 13.106-1. There are no set-aside restrictions for this requirement. The intended procurement will be classified under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 334220 with a Small Business Size Standard of 1250 employees. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document exists for this requirement.

All, parties interested in responding to this notice shall submit technical data, including price, sufficient to determine capability in providing the same item and or service. All capability statements received by the closing date of the publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.

Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
