This synopsis is being issued by the Department of the Navy, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD). NSWCPD intends to extend the Period of Performance of Contract N6449821D4021 from 24 May 2026 to 24 May 2029 in support of servicing Austal Variant Littoral Combat Ship. Pursuant to 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1), General Dynamics Mission Systems (CAGE: 3CX85) is the only responsible source capable of fulfilling the Navy's requirements for the specified effort. The resulting contract modifications are for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302.
