Notice of Intent to Sole Source Self-Contained Self-Rescuer (SCSR) Units

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to Ocenco Inc., 10225 82nd Ave. Pleasant Praire, WI 53158 for Sixty (60) Ocenco M20.3, sixty (60) Ocenco M20, sixty (60) EBA6.5, and sixty (60) Ocenco EBA-75 S units.

Ocenco, Inc. is the holder of the 42 CFR, Part 84, Subpart H approval for their 60-minute Ocenco EBA 6.5 and M20 SCSR unit and the 42 CFR, Part 84, Subpart O approval holder for the 10- minute Ocenco M20.3 SCSR unit and the 60-minute Ocenco EBA75 unit and is the only supplier. This contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) (SAP) and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1).

Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all quotations/responses received within fifteen (15) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
