GLCA - SECURITY BOAT SEAL / WIRE

THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND NOT A COMPETITIVE REQUEST FOR QUOTE. The National Park Service, Con-Ops Central, intends to issue a Sole Source award for Model PSW-97 seals for securing boats to trailers to assure inspection / decontamination and dry time of boats out of water for the purpose of preventing the spread of aquatic invasive species in Glan Canyon National Park.

The National Park Service intends to procure Model PSW-97, patent number 5,871,243 from one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). This will be a commercial acquisition using simplified acquisition procedures and will be classified under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 339991. This is a Sole Source Notice and not a request for quotations. No solicitation document is available with this notice.

Any firm that believes it has the capabilities to provide the Model PSW-97 may contact the Contract Specialist, Donald Tremble at Donald_Tremble@nps.gov for more information regarding the requirement or specifications. A determination not to compete this proposed order based on responses to this notice will be made at the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of this notice will be considered for support of the Government's determination to support of a non-competitive strategy.
