Box 25047 Denver, Colorado 80225-0047 Synopsis: In accordance with FAR 13.501(a)(1)(iv), the following Justification and Approval (J&A) is provided for a sole source award under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) for a commercial item acquisition under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold (SAT).

Description of Requirement: The U.S. Government intends to award a firm-fixed-price purchase order to IMPLAN GROUP, LLC, a small business, for the procurement of 5 Implan software licenses. These licenses are required to support the Branch of Technical Operations and ensure compatibility with existing systems.

Justification Rationale: This acquisition was conducted as a sole source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), as only one responsible source was identified, and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Market research confirmed that IMPLAN GROUP, LLC., is the only authorized source for the required software.
