NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The Department of Interior US Fish and Wildlife Service JAO IT Contracting, on behalf of the Unites States Fish and Wildlife FWS OK FISH AND WLDLFE CONSERV OFC in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with: WILDLIFE ACOUSTICS, INC. To provide the following equipment: SM4BATFS Song Meter SM4BAT-FS Full Spectrum Ultrasonic Bat Recorder Salient Characteristics and Specifications ¿ Bat Monitoring Equipment needs to sample frequencies including: o Full-Spectrum, single-channel; o 192kHz, 256kHz, 384kHz, 500kHz ¿ Bat Monitoring Equipment needs to run up to 300 hours or 30 nights with internal batteries ¿ Ultrasonic microphones compatible with the bat monitoring equipment are needed.

MIC-SMM-U2 are the appropriate components ¿ A GPS module is required which is compatible for with the bat monitor. GPSSM4 is the appropriate accessory. ¿ Software needs to be able to work with .wav files or compressed .w4v files. Kaleidoscope Pro is the industry standard. This procurement is a sole source requirement and is not a solicitation or a request for competitive proposal. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government.
