Notice of Intent

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITVE PROPOSALS. The Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) on behalf of the Bureau of Indian Education (BIE) has entered into a sole source Firm-Fixed Price contract with Southwest Boiler and Refrigerator, under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) sole Source. Urgent request to repair two 1300-gallon hot water storage tanks beginning to leak at the dormitory building 1594 at Wingate Elementary School.

The leak is located where the local maintenance is unable to repair and need a specialist to troubleshoot and make repairs. Hot water storage tanks provide domestic hot water supply to residential building 1594 on the school campus. Students and staff need hot water to clean, bath and complete laundry facilities in the school building during the academic school year. The anticipated delivery is August 30, 2024. No solicitation is available, and no technical questions will be answered for this requirement.
