NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITVE PROPOSALS. The Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) on behalf of the Bureau of Indian Education (BIE) has entered into a sole source Firm-Fixed Price contract with Trane U.S. Inc., under the authority of FAR 8.405-6 sole Source. Urgent request to Central Cooling/Heating Plant Preventive Maintenance Chiller System Service for Wingate High School.

The contractor is GSA, Trane, USA, Inc., has been servicing the Trane HVAC units as Sole Proprietor. Trane is the only company allowed to work on this proprietary HVAC Building Automative System. The anticipated delivery is July 31, 2024. No solicitation is available, and no technical questions will be answered for this requirement. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 238220.
