Notice of Intent

Notice of intent to negotiate a sole-source contract award with Native American Transformer Services (NATS). Purpose of award is for urgent repair of three 69kV transformer bushings, replacement of existing contaminated transformer insulation, repair an oil leak in the radiator, and replace a failed transformer fan. NATS will also test and commission transformers onsite before use. The agency requires urgent repair of bushings and transformer insulation prior to peak summer months.

Proposed vendor is only known ISBEE that possesses State of Arizona A-17 General Commercial Contractor-Electrical and Transmission Lines contractor's license. Solicitation is not available and technical questions won't be answered for this requirement. The NAICS code applicable to this requirement is 811310. Firms that believe this agency should not pursue this procurement should submit a capability statement by 4/23/2024, 9:00 a.m. Mountain time.
