Special Notice of Award This is to provide notice that the Government has issued a sole source award pursuant to FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), urgency. The nature of the requirement has been deemed urgent and following competitive procedures would result in unacceptable delays. MPXGYGXHY696 Amount: $104,463.00 Period of Performance: 04/01/2024 – 09/30/2024 The BIE Flandreau Indian School has a need for residential placement & education services for an enrolled student. This contract will provide residential and school services 24-hours per day, 7-days per week, as an offsite boarding school for the student. The school seeks services to meet the requirements of the Free Appropriate Public Education for Students with Disabilities under the Individual with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).

The student has specialized needs which require immediate attention which are beyond what the school is capable of providing. The select vendor possesses the qualified staff, capability, and availability to address the unique needs of this student. Due to the urgent and compelling nature of this requirement a competitive solicitation will not be posted. Technical questions will not be answered for this requirement.

This is not a request for quote nor proposal and the Government is not accepting quotes nor proposals in response to this notice. Any contractor information provided in response to this notice is strictly voluntary and shall be at no cost to the government.
