The Defense Health Agency (DHA) Northeastern Markets-Contracting Division (NEM-CD) in support of the Biomedical Department located at the Naval Health Clinic in Annapolis, Maryland, intends to award a firm fixed price contract, on a sole source basis, to the Rees Scientific Corporation in Ewing, NJ, with a base period plus 4 one-year option periods.The anticipated award will be made under the statutory authority permitting other than Full and Open Competition, under the procedures of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(2) Soliciting from a single source not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold.
The maintenance service contract is for the Centron All-In-One environmental monitor featuring the New Presidio Version 3.0 software; Validation Kit for Centron with Centron Presidio Software; Battery Module for UPS backup; Battery for Z3 wireless transmitters; service Package with full documentation provided to satisfy regulatory authorities. Comprehensive system test verifies, calibrates and documents all system functions including readings, databases, alarms, dial-outs, outputs, reports, and user programming.
Onsite Service Plan with 24/7 Technical Support. Includes approximately validation reports, software validation test reports, calibration of temperature and humidity with traceable equipment, copies of reference equipment calibration certificates and onsite refresher training at PM visit. The period of performance will be a base year plus 4 option periods. The primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 811210, This notice of intent is NOT a request for proposals or quotations.
Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged. A determination by the Government to not compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government.
