The Defense Health Agency (DHA), Northeastern Markets Contracting Division (NM-CD), on behalf of Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC), in support of the Main Operating Room, intends to award a Service Agreement on a sole source basis to Proaim Americas, LLC, 16024 Manchester Rd STE 200 Ellisville, Missouri 63011-2195, United States.

This is a special notice of the intent to award a sole-source firm fixed priced contract to Proaim Americas, LLC for service and maintenance on two Kinevo, five Pentero, two Lumera, and one Tivato surgical microscope. This requirement is for the Defense Health Agency (DHA), contracting activity Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity (DHACA), by the Healthcare Contracting Division Northeast (HCD-NE).

Far Part 6.302-1 “Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements” will be the FAR authority referenced once the award is executed. The government has gone through the process of reviewing all mandatory and non-mandatory sources specifically the Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) and GSA Advantage. It has been concluded only Proaim Americas, LLC can provide service and maintenance. The estimated cost is approximately $762,946.22.

This is under the North America Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) 811210 “Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance” with a small size business standard of $34,000,000.00. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals or quotations. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged. Phone calls will not be accepted.

A determination by the Government to not compete this proposed action based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government.

Interested parties capable of providing the requested service may submit their capabilities by responding to this notice no later than 10:00am EST, Wednesday, May 28, 2026 by email to salvador.j.peralta.ctr@health.mil. All information submitted should support the offeror’s capability to provide the requested service.
