Description
As published on SAM.gov.
The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) Microsystems Technology Office (MTO) seeks information regarding the fundamental limits of broadband electromagnetic sensing. DARPA is interested in solutions that can meet or exceed the standard quantum limit of sensitivity bandwidth product. DARPA is looking for methodologies that enable truly interchangeable sensitivity and -bandwidth across signal receive bands, which may span or tune across decades of the RF spectrum, from Hz levels to mm-wave (60 GHz).
The goal of this Request for Information (RFI) is to understand the current state of the art and how recent advances in quantum sensing can be leveraged to create new classes of sensors. Responses to this RFI will be used to determine the potential viability of developing potential future programs.
